Rain or shine the Cashmere Primary Te Pae Kereru Twilight Fair has been a main stay in our community for the past eight years. This fundraiser helps our school with playgrounds, the arts, music, and much more. The PTA is happy to organise this event and raise funds for something special each year. More and more stalls and food are added each year to this great evening.

Please get in touch with the PTA if you would like to help out in any way.

How You Can Help

Donation of Goods

We need donations of the following items:

  • Lemons - these are used to make our yummy homemade Lemonade.

  • Second-hand books for our Book Stall.

  • Second-hand clothes for our Recycled Clothes Stall (please can these be washed and in good condition).

  • Household items and toys for our White Elephant stall (please ensure these are in good condition and/or working order).

  • Spare ‘My Food Bag’ boxes.

Please drop any contributions into the School Office from Monday 11th November onwards.

Your donations are very much appreciated!

Volunteers

Putting on a Fair is a big undertaking, and we need lots of hands to help out and make it a success.

There are many ways you can help out. You can volunteer:

  1. Now - people are needed between now and the Fair to help coordinate stalls and organise supplies for the day.

  2. On the day - we need people to help with setup during the day of Friday 22nd November.

  3. On the night - we need volunteers to sign up to do a shift on one of our stalls on the night of the Fair. A shift is only for an hour, but it's really important we have enough people for the Fair to go ahead.

Please contact pta@cashmereprimary.school.nz if you can help in anyway, or fill in a slot on the Volunteer Roster

Borrow...Lend….or Donate

Do you have a gazebo or trestle table we could borrow for the night of the Fair?

If so, please contact pta@cashmereprimary.school.nz or pop in to the School Office and let us know.

These events would not be possible without our sponsors, raffle donations and supporters. A huge thank you for making a difference in your community!

Many Hands

A Shout out to the CPTPK Tamariki from the PTA

The PTA are so proud of all the amazing tamariki at Cashmere Primary Te Pae Kereru!

We have so many children coming and asking to help and seeing what they could do for us, right through setup, running the actual Fair, and afterwards for pack up. They were all so smiley and did their tasks with such graciousness, and we are so very grateful for all their help, smiles, and effort – top work!

A special shout out to the Katua Enviro leaders. They are always show great support with ensuring we live up to our Green/Gold Environmental status as a school, through educating the tamariki, making posters to guide us, and even sorting through compost bins after the Fair to ensure we made our best effort with this before sending the bins for composting at Cultivate Christchurch.

Ka pai to mahi, we’re very proud and grateful!

Hands together!

Thank you to all our amazing Volunteers!

What an amazing Twilight Fairs we have! Great food, great stalls, and a fantastic turnout from the community, we couldn’t have asked for better.

Thank you so much for supporting our annual event and helping make it such a success. An event like this only happens when all the moving parts come together, from sponsorship, donations and commitment through to volunteers, effort and everyone who comes on the night.

On behalf of the Cashmere Primary Te Pae Kereru tamariki, staff, and PTA, and the wider community, a heartfelt thank you from us all.

Thank you to everyone who helped us make the Twilight Fair such a success. We could not have done it without you!
